rclone-backups

rclone-backups is a personal backup tool. It uses rclone to copy its owner's backups to the owner's own Google Drive. It is not offered to anyone else, and no one else can use it.

Privacy policy

This policy covers the Google OAuth client named rclone-backups.

• Who uses it: only the owner, with the owner's own Google account.
• What it accesses: only the Google Drive files that it created itself, through the drive.file permission. It cannot see other files in the Drive.
• What it does with them: it uploads, checks, and removes the owner's own backup files.
• Sharing: no data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or analytics.
• Where the sign-in is kept: the access token stays on the owner's own computer. There is no hosted service or server-side database.
• Removing access: the owner can revoke it at any time in their Google Account permissions.
